Who is Max Orido Max Orido is a Japanese professional racing driver who has made a name for himself in both domestic and international motorsport. Born on October 9, 1969, in Osaka, Japan, Orido began his racing career in the early 1990s and has since become one of the most successful drivers in the Japanese racing scene. Orido started his career racing in the All-Japan Formula 3 Championship in 1992, where he finished in 12th place overall in his first season. He continued to compete in Formula 3 for several years, but his career really took off when he switched to touring car racing in the mid-1990s. In 1996, Orido began racing for Toyota Team Tom's in the Japanese Touring Car Championship (JTCC), where he quickly established himself as one of the top drivers in the series. He won his first JTCC race in 1997 and went on to win the championship in 1998.
